Lesson 3: Uilleann Practice Set Fundamentals

As you have all ready probably gathered, the Uilleann Pipes are a complicated instrument.  Even in their simplest form, "the practice set" they can seem very complicated. Watch theses videos below to learn how to best operate and get started on this "crazy" instrument.

*Its important to take note that I play left handed. This means my right hand is on top, left hand on the bottom and bag under my right arm. More than likely you play right handed which means your left hand is on top, right hand on the bottom and bag under your left arm. It doesn't matter which way you play. However, you may notice that sometimes I'll be doing something with my right hand and call it my left.... Please don't get confused I'm just trying to do this for your benefit. *
