E Exercise 1
Close the chanter holes in between each note and try to make sure your bottom index and middle finger come down at the same time. If you hear a squeaky sound it probably means your not completely covering and uncovering all the holes.
G-F#-E and Half Note Exercise 1
Close the chanter holes in between each of the notes. The last note is a half note and is held twice as long as the quarter notes.
Make sure to take your time with this last exercise it's quite a bit harder than the others, so do it a couple times before moving on to next lesson and make sure you understand how long half notes are held.
