Close the chanter holes in between each note.
C#-B-A-G-F#-E-D & Dots
In music notation, Dots increases the duration of notes by half of its original value. This means that a note worth 1 beat becomes 1.5 beats or that a note worth of 2 beats becomes 3 beats like the example below.
Dots and vary commonly seen in music that is in 3/4 and 6/8. You will learn more about this in lessons to come.
